Nearly all of our customers elect to use call diversion in order for
us top answer their calls, however some prefer to give out their unique
virtual assistant telephone number direct to potential clients and customers
ensuring that all company calls are handled by Connect.
Call
Diversion Codes for BT Customers
To setup call diversion so that your virtual assistant answers all calls
enter:
*21* [key in your unique virtual assistant telephone
number (VATN)] then dial # to divert ALL calls.
If you wish to check that call divert is active then dial *#21#
or alternatively dial #21# to cancel
call divert.
To setup your phone so that calls are answered by your virtual assistant
when your lines are unanswered enter:
*61* [key in your unique VATN] then dial #
to divert calls when unanswered.
To check that call divert when unanswered is active dial *#61#
or alternatively dial #61# to cancel.
To enable your virtual assistant to answer your calls when your line
is busy enter:
*67* [key in your unique VATN] then dial #
to divert calls when line is busy.
Again, if you wish to check that the service is active dial: *#67#
and to cancel dial:#67#.
To divert your BT line when your phone is either unanswered or busy
enter:
*66* [key in your unique VATN] then dial #
to divert calls when engaged or unanswered.
As with before enter *#66# to check
call divert when engaged or unanswered and enter #66#
to cancel.
To divert lines from a service provider other than BT:
If you do not have a standard analogue line (ISDN or PBX for example)
or your telephone service provider is not BT (Telewest, Virgin Media or
